Happy New Year!

Reminder our next meeting will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.  It will be a New Life A/G in Geneva.  I hope to see you all there.

The calendar has been updated on the tab in the blog and I will email you a word copy.  Looking forard to seeing what God has for our girls in 2013.

Merry Christmas

  Recipe for Christmas All Year Long
Take a heap of child-like wonder
That opens up our eyes
To the unexpected gifts in life—
Each day a sweet surprise.
Mix in fond appreciation
For the people whom we know;
Like festive Christmas candles,
Each one has a special glow.
Add some giggles and some laughter,
A dash of Christmas food,
(Amazing how a piece of pie
Improves our attitude!)
Stir it all with human kindness;
Wrap it up in love and peace,
Decorate with optimism, and
Our joy will never cease.
If we use this healthy recipe,
We know we will remember
To be in the Christmas spirit,
Even when it's not December.

Teen Challenge Wrap up

Hi everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed the evening Friday.  What a great way to kick off the Christmas season!

Special thanks to Gateway A/G for hosting the event and providing all the paper products and for keeping the coffee flowing.

Thanks to the Masters Commission pastors and students, members of New Life A/G, members of NBAG, and the staff at Gateway A/G for helping with set up.

Thanks to Pastor Ken Keene for bringing us the real story of St. Nicholas.

Thanks to all of you.  This year we provided 18 gift baskets, plus 2 extra baskets that were collected and donated.  We gave 13 staff gift/gift cards this year.  There were approximately 293 in attendance at the party.

Chistmas Party Schedule

Here are a few reminders to make your evening run smoothly.

·         Party is Friday, December 7, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at Gateway A/G

·         If you have not made your reservations for the party, please call 330-583-2071  and let me know  the number of people from your church that will be attending the party.  Please leave a message if no one answersJ.

·         Gateway will be providing all the paper products and coffee for the event.

·         Please bring your gift baskets and dinner for your church and the gentleman you are blessing with baskets for the evening. 

·         Take 1 gift out of your basket and place it under the designated tree when you arrive at the party.  This gift is for Christmas morning.  Please make sure you label it for your gentleman.

·         Teen Challenge will take the leftovers.  Please bring disposable containers if you would like to send the left overs home with them.

·         Gateway A/G and their pastors and staff have always been gracious hosts.   Please thank them for allowing us to use their facility and all they provide for us.  Be respectful of their generosity and kindness:  if you borrow something from them please remember to return it to them

·         Please be sure to supervise your girls and boys that attend the party. 

·         If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call me at 330-583-2071

I am looking forward to a great party again this year.  It is a wonderful way to start the Christmas gathering season by showing the heart of God to others as we minister to their needs.
