Girls Ministries is about intentional outreach and Christian discipleship for girls.

Why just for girls? Gender specific ministry is crucial for developing girls into women of God. Girls are faced with so much confusion and temptation in their daily lives, but in a setting catered to girls they can connect with each other and an older mentor who can invest in them through Bible study and activities and help them grow in their faith and discover the answers to the questions they face.

Girls Ministry Clubs are an achievement-based program that utilizes badges and awards as a tool to disciple girls. However, if the traditional model for using the curriculum is not working in your church, the materials can be used simply as a discipleship tool.

Start with the clubs that match your girls' ages.  If you need to, just combine the clubs to fit the needs of your church girls.  Here are a coulple ideas to get you started:

• 2 groups: All Impact groups combined (age 3-5th grade) and TGM groups (6th-12th grade) combined
• 3 groups:  Rainbows/Daisies (age 3-K), Prims/Stars (2nd-5 grade), and TGM (6th-12th grade)
• 4 groups:  Rainbows/Daisies (age 3-K), Prims (2nd-3rd grade), Stars (3rd-5th grade) and TGM

These are just a few suggestions. The possibilities are up to your imagination and the needs of your church.  It is so flexible!  Feel free to contact me if you would like to talk about what might work for your church.

April Area Girls MInistry Meeting Notes

Hi everyone!  Spring is upon us...well at least it according to the date on the calendar.  Last night was the NEGM quarterly meeting.  I would encourage each and everyone one of you to try to stay connected.  It a vital part to keeping our ministry fresh to take the time to connect with others who share your heart for ministry. 

The summer events will be here before we know it.  I encourage you to take part in these events.  It is another way for you to connect with your girls.  These events are a great way for the girls to see they are apart of something bigger than themselves.  The events provide opportunities for salvation, spiritual growth,  and relationship building..  Please consider bringing all or even part of your groups.

Be in prayer for Girls Ministries.  We have a few new pastors in our area that I am working on connecting with,.  We also have the possibility of a few new groups getting started.  Pray that God will raise up women with hearts to mentor the next generation of Godly women for him.

Miss Equip News

Our Miss Equip Swim Party was a success.  Each participatin church received $65.00 to put towards their miss Equip offering.  Lets spend the the next month working hard to make every quarter count.  Miss Equip Stands for Every Quarter Uniting Important People.  Let's unit with Ohio missionaries and up our giving total this year.

Summer Events

Summer events are a great way to develop those mentoring relationships with your girls prayerfully consider bringing your girls this year. 

Super Girls Retreat-Grades 3-12 

Girls reatreat this year is June 14-15.  Come spend some time helping your girls develop and discover their unique individual spiritual gifts. 

Family Fun Day

Family fun is an event for kids in grades K-2.  The date for this event is Saturday June 16.  Families and church families are encouraged to attend this event and spend a great day discovering some super kids in the Bible.

Other Things in the Works

We are working on joing with youth leaders at New Life A/G to provide the teen girls focusing on God's views of Purity.  More details will follow as I get them.
